Brad Sumrok is a nationally recognized leader in the multifamily education business. Since 2005 Brad has personally helped his students purchase over 250 apartment complexes involving hundreds of investors with tens of millions in capital raised. In 2018 alone, Brad’s students purchased over $500M in combined deal volume. Brad has also continued his own progression as an apartment investor and has owned over 3000 apartment units.

Paul Peebles has been arranging real estate financing for borrowers and institutional clients since 1987 and is the National Underwriter at Old Capital Lending. Paul oversees underwriting and structuring of all transactions handled by Old Capital through an array of sources including conduits, banks, life companies, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD and private money lenders. He has closed over $5 billion in lifetime real estate loan transactions over a 30+ year career.

JC Castillo has been acquiring, renovating and operating out-of-state multifamily properties since before the Great Recession and is one of the few investors to have gone through a full cycle. In 2006 he founded Multifamily Property Group, a private equity real estate investment firm that connects California capital with full turn-key value-add multifamily investment opportunities in select US growth markets. Based in the Silicon Valley, JC is an expert at building the infrastructure and processes needed to execute large-scale property repositions across remote geographies. He has owned over 1000 apartment units over his career.
