JC Castillo is a seasoned commercial real estate investor with over 10 years experience funding, purchasing, renovating and operating large scale multifamily properties. In 2006 he founded MPG, a turnkey platform that delivers the benefits of property ownership without heavy lifting. In 2013, he co-founded Luminera Properties to serve as the exclusive in-house management arm for all MPG properties. Based in the Silicon Valley, JC also has an extensive 15 year sales executive background in the semiconductor industry. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
Eric Hardy heads MPG’s Capital Funding and Acquisition process. Since 2013 he has been deeply involved in all transactional elements of the sales process including underwriting, contract negotiations, financing and private equity placement for the MPG portfolio. Eric has analyzed over a hundred properties to date, resulting in successful closings of more than 500 apartment doors with a total value over $35M. Eric was a successful semiconductor sales executive before joining MPG in 2018 to follow his passion in multifamily real estate. Based in Orange County, he is a graduate of UC Davis with a BA in Mathematics. He is married and has two children.
Edith Bohorquez is responsible for the performance and coordination of property operations for all investments managed by Luminera Properties. She has over 10 years of successful multifamily property operation experience including lease ups, acquisitions, renovations and re-positions of both financially and physically stressed assets. She also has experience with tax credit properties. She has held a variety of property management and operations roles in several markets throughout the DFW area. Edith holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Michael has been active in the architecture world for over a decade, starting his own consulting business in 2013 with services ranging from design to project presentation. Before starting his company, he worked for various local and national architecture firms such as CallisonRTKL (previously RTKL Associates Inc.) where he gained valuable experience and honed his abilities both as a creator and leader. He began working with MPG in 2015 as a consultant to design and oversee property repositioning initiatives, a role that evolved into a full-time position in 2017. Michael holds a BS in Architecture from Texas Tech University.
